Re: some probs

How long has it been since you have done a full tune-up. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, oil change. Also make sure the egr is clean. Do a search there are lots of walk throughs on this.

My truck has a bad hesitation but its older and after i finally got some extra cash and time i did a tune up well 110k miles later i found out that it still had the original spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Well considering this i was surprised it still ran.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: some probs

90k miles and no tuneup. Your trucks symptoms point it out fouled or bad plugs will make the truck run rich since its not burning the gas completely, bad response out of the engine, no acceleration. Its not going to cause SEVERE damage but its sure as hell not good for it. Can cause the cat to go bad, one thing you should see is black smoke out of the exhaust pipe when you rev the engine, or a strong gas smell. a tune up is in order and i would replace the o2 sensors to.

Re: some probs

I agree as soon as I get off my dead ass I have to do a tune up as well. And I only have 85K and I know I need one. So more mileage better chance that you need one worse.

Re: some probs

You need to do a complete tuneup ASAP and the code you are getting is actually for the 02 sensor just in front of the cat.

Cap and Rotor
AC Delco Platinum plugs ONLY!
PCV valve
Fuel filter
Air filter
Throttle Body Cleaning.
