ignition control module on 87 ram

hello, I am having a bit of a problem, I need to locate my ignition control module on my 1987 dodge ram pick up. It has a 318 motor. I was told it is supposed to be on my firewall . It is not there could it possibly be behind the master cylinder, It said something about behind it on firewall but didn't mention removing please help asap

You may have the Electronic Spark Control on your 87. If that is the case then the module is either hanging off the air cleaner or tucked inside the front drivers side fender. Looks like this...
