Unhappy Bleeding Cooling System on 97 Cavalier??

I have read alot about bleeding the cooling system after refilling.
What is the correct way to do this?
I have read to just drive it a couple of days and keep an eye on the overflow tank and the air would work its way out on its own?
I have read something about opening up bleeder screws on the system and letting the engine run and refilling? What bleeder screws??
I would like a step by step procedure on how to do this correctly.
Thanks,

Re: Bleeding Cooling System on 97 Cavalier??

Basically run the car and let it warm up. Open the bleeder screw located on what looks like a metal bar running horizontally under ur hood, u will see a little screw and there will be a sign that says "caution do not bleed when hot" or something. With it warm and running preferably, open the screw just slightly at time, if nothing happens that means there is air coming out, leave the screw open until coolant starts flowing out. Turn off car and back on and repeat process to insure all air is gone.
