Question Oil Leak

While making a small drive I noticed an oil smell. I thought it was the gasket on the valve cover but in looking it seems to be coming out of a different area. 1992 Caravan
There is a round plastic, like plug. It seems to be leaking around this spot. Is there something I can do to fix this? Is it an easy part to replace or is it a garage job?:

Re: Oil Leak

does the plug have any wires coming out of it? is it the oil pressure sensor?

Re: Oil Leak

No no wires coming out of it. It is about in the middle of the block on the right hand side facing the engine. Seems to be a plastic. Thought it would be a frost plug?
