'91 Q45 Active suspension
I've a '91 Q45 with active suspension. The right rear strut has a heavy leak and no longer retains the fluid, so we are 'fully lowered' (rough ride)
At 179000 miles, I'm concerned that another strut could go as soon as I fix the bad one. I would like to look at converting the active suspension to regular shocks. Does anyone have any information on whether this is possible and what parts, etc I would need to do this? Thanks Tom |

It is possible, not cheap but possible.
Go to <www.nissaninfiniticlub.com> and search the infiniti group. They have all the scoop including a parts list. There is also a fellow on that group who rebuilds and recharges the active suspension components. Good Luck |

91 Q45 Active suspension
Hi,
I have a 91 Q45, Active suspension. The active suspension seems to be acting up. I checked the struts there seems to be no leak. Dealer recomends replacing the struts which is extremely expensive. I am considering replacing the active suspension pressure switch, anyone know a website where I get parts Q45 at a discount. Thanks Dev Reddy |

Q45a suspension help
Go to www.nissaninfiniticlub.net and read the posts, especially by Texasoil. www.infinitipartsusa.com has good prices, as does inifiniti of lisle.
But check Texasoil posts for the struts and accumulators.
