Smile What intake should i buy for 98 civic???

I just bought a 98 civic dx and was looking to do some simple mods, thinking of an intake first. I think i want to go with ram air after reading all the cons of locating the filter beneath the car. It seems like the performance enhancement is negligable from an intake, so really i just want a little noise. If there is a cheap or other way to go about it i'd love to know. Also it would hopefully be a semi-simple mod because i dont have much experience. Money is tight (cant afford $100+ for AEM etc.) so if anyone has any suggestions???? Thanks!

Don't make multiple posts of the same question, there's no reason for that. If you're going to get an answer, you'll get it in one thread. Please delete your other threads (especially since they don't belong in the other forums; it's not jdm or a walkthrough).

But anyways. You could remove your resonator if you want a little more sound. Other wise just get a cheap e-bay intake pipe and a good filter (like k&n). But a short ram should give you more sound than a cai. I nearly doubled my volume by putting on a cheap 3" short ram (it was way too loud for me so I later took it off, but I prefer quiter the better).
