Some Random Pictures of Project Silver SOB!!! (No 56k)

Just like the titles say...it has been a while since i have posted pictures or a new thread so i thought i would share some of my newly inquiries for a little peak into my life.

Obligatory Box Shot...

Of Course, whats inside the box is important...

Top width...

End Tank Width...

Low Mileage Used TT Transmission.

This should help me make quick work of my tires.

Random Parts Picture. Pea shooters and other junk.

My paint skills are above par. Pictures don't do the Gun Metal w/ sparkle justice.

Paint is supposed to withstand 2000 degrees Fahrenheit so we shall see.

Timing Belt Covers w/ more of my mondo paint skills. Prep work on these were a PITA.

New accordian intake hose, TT fuel pump, Noltech motor mounts, Oil Cooler Box...

Oil Cooler and RFL's installed.

This shouldn't block as much air flow as my original PWR 15 row i had in there, but cooling should be similar beings this one is alot thicker.

New TT Radiator Shroud and Autometer Triple Gauge Pod

These shall let me keep a good eye on things.

I guess that is it for parts that I have on hand right now. New turbos will be here wednesday and i get to have the joy of placing another large order tomorrow or Tuesday. Merry Christmas to me!

More random pictures:

Stuey keeping the Z in check while she awaits her transplant.

Always buckle up!

My stock and what the average night consists of. Only thing missing for these to be the perfect picture would be a hott half-naked women and i am sorry, i cannot share those. *Delerious...Hush*

lighting and flash makes it look orange...its really red with a clear coat. they are the same red as the pressure plate, i just didnt use a flash on the pressure plate because it was right underneath the light.

c'mon, orange? wtf?

Loving those urethane motor mounts... SPL parts?

Hope to get some of those when I pull the motor.

Noltechs from Z1. I wouldn't buy urethanes just yet. there have been some complaints about them falling apart. build quality is good, its just the heat gets to them after a while. there is a guy working on a design right now over at tt.net. only reason why im not using the stock rubber mounts is because i already had bought these before i read any of the complaints.

That sucks... maybe some 'header/manifold wrap' would help?

Also: I'm surprised you aren't running an electric fan, Jason. Any reason why?

nobody has made a fan/shroud combo that cools as good or better than the stock clutch fan. closest has been the AshSpec e-fan combo and even the larger 4000cfm fan is having problems keeping temps in operable conditions. even when in operable conditions it seems to be running about 15-20 degrees hotter than the stock clutch system.

so for me...i will take the extra drag on the motor in exchange for a cooler running motor.

do your research Jorge, there are alot of products coming out but some of them do not have the performance to back them up and therefore a waste of money.

as for the motor mounts, most people are just going back to the stockers for now until someone comes out with a better design besides solid. as you can see from the pictures, i had solid motor mounts and talked to a few people with them and they said the vibration is pretty bad so i opted to get the urethane as i will still be on stock manifolds for a little while which means i can still use my heat shields.
