sweeking sound from back end

I replaced my shocks and I still have a noticible sweeking sound when I either press up and down on bumper (rear) or fill the car with 4 adults.

If I have 1 avg sized adults in the rear and I turn even slighlty fast or hit a dipin the road I hear kinda a "pop" sound.

It could be the tire hitting the wheel well or something,

Again I replaced the shocks thining that was the problem but this is still an issue keeping my firebird from looking it best.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: sweeking sound from back end

It could be a noise coming from the torque arm mount. If the rubber on it gets torn up they make a noise like you described. Trailing arms do the same thing when the rubber wears out. Check those too.
