2001 power steering pump removal

how hard is it to remove and replace th ps pump on my 2001, 3.0 ? Any tips?

it's not that hard. lots of room to get to bolts. did yours go bad?

well I thought it was the pump, it was squeeking like hell, I hit the back of pully with WD40 and it stopped for a minute. I ended up replacing it this a.m. not that hard. Fired it up and the squeeking it STILL THERE I have been my head, I have tried alternator, not it, both pulleys, not it, know ps pump,. I checked water pump, is fine, no leaks. I soaked the ac pully and it stopped for about 1 mile. Do you think know the whole compressor needs to be replaced or is there a replacable bearing. Man this is starting to suck

i found this stuff at walmart called lube gell. sqirted it in a/c clutch holes and it stopps squeek till it gets wet then it sqeeks again. gonna trade mine in before it starts squeeking again!!!! tried wattery lube's with same luck u had.
