Re: eclipse project car?
Don't get anything less than a GSX if your really gonna do a project. Its turbocharged and all wheel drive. The best combination for a powerful car.

Re: eclipse project car?
To answer your question, I say 90-91 or 97-99 manual AWD with a rather big problem. Everyone will give you a different answer though, you are going to have to sit and think about what its going to be used for and how much you want to drop for it and for parts. If you are a cheap ass and are trying to get the cheapest 10 sec car you can, go with a 90-92 AWD. If you want a really fast car but you have deeper pockets go for the 97-99 AWD. Manuals are wayyyy more fun and seem to be faster at stock power levels, but once you get into the lower ET's autos will turn more consistantly fast times. AWD cars can take your breath away on launch so I would definately say hold out for an AWD, but maybe it doesnt matter and you want to go FWD. Its 100% your call. Just dont get a 93-94. They are ugly as shit and have 7 bolts
