Question wanting info on GXP

hi all,

looking for info on the GXP. any owners online? wanting to know the good, bad, and ugly.

i've read the reviews on C&D, but being a ford guy, i feel out of my depth here. i know the model is new, but the salesman said something about '07 being the last of the GP, replaced by the G8? what about a V8, will that remain? what's on the horizon?

any other boards/ sites i should be reviewing as i contemplate purchase?

Re: wanting info on GXP

Most of us who frequent this board have the 97-03' models.

If you are looking for mods, there probably won't be the vast number of them compared to the 3800 powered models. I have no idea about the reliability of the LS4 they put in the GXP. However for just a general driver, I don't see a problem with owning one.

You are correct that they are going to replace the Grand Prix with the G8 sometime in 2008. To the best of my knowledge it will be a RWD platform and aims to snap up the discontinued Bonneville and current Grand Prix owners.

You may want to try places like your local Club GP for guidance.
