GIAC (supposedly) makes a great chip for the V6 and the Tiptronic, I think their closest dealer is Shine Racing Service in Walpole (Boston).
You can also check out the Upsolute and Wetterrauer V6 chips.

Try http://www.giacusa.com/ , the V6 section is still "under construction", but their dealers have the chips.

Dou you have the Tiptronic gearbox?
And, as for the air box, I don't know, I took out a snow-filter and a snorkel/silencer of my box, but it's a ten-year-old VR6 air box.

You’re welcome.

Now, I would really recommend you getting a GIAC Tiptronic chip. It makes a world of difference, the gearbox actually responds to gear changes right away, without the one-second delay.

Cool

I will check out giac but when I went into the Upsolute web site I saw that they have a dealer 30min. from my house which is great when it comes to installation. The improvements would be 14 hp and 2 mpg. which isn't bad but nothing like gains on the 1.8 I will check out giac to see what there chip will do. P.S. Tried to see if there is a baffle in the air cleaner box its a job just trying to take the air filter out with all the vacuum lines hooked up.
