Tonights bb gun acident...help!

ok guys so my brother got these airsoft guns and he has been shooting me all day with it p$%#n me off soo tonight i got on top of the house with my bb gun and waited for him to come outside looking for me when he did i aimed for his back...but my luck sucks and i hit him in the side of his head...he went down and started crying a lot and i told him to stop being a baby but by the time i got from off the roof he was still crying i walked up to him and there was blood everywhere ... about an hour later he calmed down and i looked at his head and cleaned it up i opened the wound a little and i think the bb is stuck in there

so is this a serious problem or can it just stay in there? he says that it doesnt hurt much....im ferked...

ps. it was a copperhead bb i think...

Oh my God.. if there's anything under the skin that SHOULDN'T be under the skin, it better be looked at. Where on the side of the head did you specifically hit him?

My friend shot me in the head with a BB. Its a serious offense....

Point of entrance was right above my forehead.. it traveled about 2" under my skin into the scalp.

anyways, I told my mom about it a day after it happend. She freaked, and made me go to the doctors office... next thing I know, cops are questioning me, throwing around words like "fatal" and "atempt to kill" I was like.. oh..shit..lol

Anyways they said it MUST come out, so I went to a head specialist, they put numbing cream ontop of the BB, cut an X ontop of the BB and popped it out.. and recieved multiple stitches.

About the cops, they asked my mom if she wanted to press charges, and she said no.. so my friend got off... your laws may be different, just start kissing your bro's ass just incase..

ps I didnt cry..lol

Don't listen to the mod above me. A BB should NOT be left under the skin. He's asking for serious infection or worse if you leave it in. I sincerely doubt the cops could get involved in this, so I wouldn't worry about that. Get him to an ER soon, and have them look at it.

My dad's dad had his eye shot out by his twin brother at age 10 with a BB gun. He was blind in that eye for the rest of his life.

yea im not worried about the cops or anything....i told him that in the morning ill take him to the hospital and have them take x rays he was cool about it...i highly doubt infection will get bad enough in one night to cause any problems..

If it's just under the skin and you can feel it, just squeze it out like a pimple. Some BB's are made of lead and will make him very sick. I had to remove one from my arm and one from my side a few years ago. Hurts like a bitch but I hate Dr's so I removed them myself. After removing the BB, use lots of peroxide, iodine and or Neosporen (sp). Numb it up with an icecube first. Dosen't help alot but it does help.

Um the only BB's made from lead these days are the ones used in shot guns. All the rest are nickle or brass coated or are straight up steel BB's. I've had a BB stuck in my finger for 2 yrs yes it got a little infection yes it was sore as hell for about 3 weeks and at the end of that 2 yrs it had worked it's way close enough to the surface I took a razor blade myself and cut the skin away and popped it like a zit. I still have a pencil lead stuck in my right ring finger from when I was 14 I'm now 35. I've cut the tips of my fingers off of my right hand, I've been hit over the head with a 15 lb rock while climbing (needless to say I wasn't standing and I still have that knot), I've had a 4" nail driven into my left shoulder (that hurt like hell when they went to clean the rust out a week later (very serious infection) they could hear me all through out the doctors office), I've had both of the backs of my legs burnt by side pipes on a 68 Camaro SS (those took 3 mths to heal), That little BB won't hurt much if anything if left in there for a while it will eventually work it's way up and build a pocket around itself of skin. The human body is an amazing thing.
