I recently did all the wiring on my 2007 yukon for a sound system. I got everything working properly my 12 volt source my ground and everything but I have one little major problem. I can't seem to find where to connect the rem wire i've tried connecting it to all the fuses on the inside fuse box and some of them give it power without turning it off and some give it no power. What can i do? I'm running the stock head unit. Need help please Thanks.

Re: REM wire problem
Find a fuse thats only hot in the run position of the ignition. A test light helps, too.

Re: REM wire problem
Any auto parts store or wal-mart. There has to be a fuse thats only hot in "run", it's just finding it......

Re: REM wire problem
Im kinda new 2 this so 2 find that hot fuse i have 2 see that it goes off when the ignition on the truck is off and that is on when the ignition goes on.Im like 95% sure that i tried every fuse like that and most of them stayed on except one but that one caused my system 2 get very high static and its not static from the power wires with the rca because im running them on opposite sides. So whats that thing called exactly to test the fuses?
