certi trans problems in 95 aurora

hello,i,am new to the forum and need of help.had a gm rebuilt trans installed at the dealer to fix what seems to be a common problem with auroras.ses light would come on and trans would start acting up.from park to forward and reverse trans would act like a sledge hammer.dealer replaced trans with rebuilt but i still have the same problems.dealer allways says it is something else or they cant duplicate the problem with the shifting.waranty is up in 6 months and i shelled out around four grand for the work.what could it be?thanks.

shift solenoids perhaps? or tranny mounts

Bet it is your main computer. Had the same problem and it was fixed by replacing computer not the trans. You can be sure it is not the turbine speed sensor since the stealer put in a new tranny. Suggest you go to a big junk yard and try several used computers. If you get your computer exposed it only takes two minutes to swap out test computers. It worked for me.

Get all your documents together, always get a ticket even when they find nothing, get a second opinion in writing from a qualified shop, if you have to pay for diagnosis, ok. Take this package and talk to the SM, tell him if not corrected you will see him in small claims court, this all assumes this is actually a trans problem of course.
