fuel pump

just changed my fuel pump in my 95 blazer when u turn it over to start it sometimes u can hear the pump and when it does kick on u can hear it whining til u turn the truck off.HELP PLEASE

Does the truck seem to run right other than the noise?

And did you change the fuel filter as well. You should always change the fuel filter when you change the pump since there's a good chance that it's what caused the pump to pack it in (they get clogged)

The only other thing to look at is the fuel pressure.

Fuel pump is normal when it's whining. Some fuel pumps Whine louder then others.
