Re: oppinions on the new rabbit

I think I don't see what the difference is between it and the Golf. Didn't the Golf replace in the Rabbit? Is the Rabbit replacing the Golf now, or is it going to be built alongside of the Golf?

I'm a fan of all the MK generations but the MK 5, I like the Idea of bringing the name back, but someone needs to design a better body.

I think the new rabbit rocks. Its got tons of standard features, and still around $15K! I like the looks too. And i'm sure the aftermarket will jump on this.

Re: oppinions on the new rabbit

I checked out the New Rabbit at the dealership....WOW! G-man 422 hit the nail on the head, this car Rocks! Lotta features, lotta options, super practical interior that is so functional it hurts! And finally a 5-cyl. engine that is just right for this size vehicle....no need for a turbo for regular zipping around town. Most importantly for a family man is that the safety features simply outclass any competition. I believe the chassis is even the same as the Jetta & Audi A3 chassis.... which are in the tops of the IIHS safety score. This in all likelyhood will be my wife's & 2 babies next run-about car.

Re: oppinions on the new rabbit

i like it, and i really hope that the aftermarket people jump on this car and rape it with goodies

and the good thing is that the 2dr, MT starts at only 14K so for me (high school student) thats friggin amazing!
