Crunchymilk getting owned!

Let's just say the cars out and racing were pretty damn fast. My car is having some tuning issues that I"ll have to fix tonight, but here's the basic scenario of the race on the video. Punch from 60, while the turbo spooled up he immediately put about a length on me, then, about a second after it hit max boost, my cel flashed, meaning I'm knocking more than 5 degrees. I was running 20psi, not 15 like the video says btw. This happened pretty much all night, I have a mechanical issue somewhere. It's too bad we really didn't get to race because I did stop his immediate pull. He had 4.10 gears so up top would REALLY have been to my advantage. Good race though, cams are coming soon, I'll fix my knock problem, and we'll go again. Here's the link

O yeah Kevin if I can't figure out what's wrong I'll send you a datalog, cool?

Re: Crunchymilk getting owned!

I tried to watch the video the other day and it never loaded, so I didn't comment. lol

You need to get your car running right before trying to take on cars like that.

Re: Crunchymilk getting owned!

Yeah I thought the car was running tip-top. Something is mechanically wrong because my perfect 11.5 tune magically turned into a shitty rich tune, rich enough to studder the engine. However, it's raining and will be all weekend so I don't have an opportunity to try and tune it.

the 190 flows enough fuel for this turbo except at really high boost. I couldn't afford a decent fpr at the time so 190 it was

Re: Crunchymilk getting owned!

found the problem. I ran the boost leak tester and it wouldn't hold more than 1psi. j-pipe/turbo gasket must be shot. Doesn't matter, I'm ordering the slowboy j-pipe since it's made for my fmic. (I had to cut and reweld the old one.) So this will just make things simpler.
