switch below steering wheel ?

Does anyone know wha that switch/relay just below the steering wheel is for? Its black much smaller than a normal relay and rectangular in shape. I think it has like four or five wires coming out of the white plastic plug that connects to it.

thanks

Re: switch below steering wheel ?

If this is below the st wheel on the right side, try pushing it straight in and see if it pops out slightly, then try to open your windows. There is a circut breaker down there to keep the kids from openning the windows when left in the car.
Also helps if a switch doesn't work right and only opens a window but won't close it. you must then open the window of your choice deliberately, no accidental opennings.
Hope this works for you.
