Differential Lubricant - 96 Z28
I need to change the differential gasket on my 1996 Z-28. Naturally, I will also drain and replace the lubricant, however, I cannot find anywhere in my Haynes manual where it tells me the type of lubricant to use. Can anyone tell me what type of differential lubricant to use?
Thanks, Greg |

Re: Differential Lubricant - 96 Z28
I guess I should have read the owner's manual prior to posting my first messgage. I read it, and it gave me the type of lubricant, however, the type of lubricant depends on the type of differential - regular or limited slip. So now my question is, can anyone tell me how to tell if I have a regular or limited slip differential?
Thanks, Greg |
