Squeaky clutch pedal 2004 Ranger
I have about 10 days of warranty left on my 2004 and have noticed the clutch pedal has started to squeak on release. Had something like this happen on two previous small trucks, but not until after 100k miles. Is this likely just a matter of needing some grease, or should I get down to a dealer before rolling over 36k miles? They already had to replace the transmission and the clutch slave cylinder a few months ago.

Re: Squeaky clutch pedal 2004 Ranger
If they are not going to charge you, I would have the dealer check things out before the warranty expires.
Squeaky pedal is most likely just in need of lubrication. |

I agree with getting the dealer to repair it.
On my SIL's '94, I had to hand apply some silicone paste to the master cylinder rod that attaches to the pedal. Kinda hard to reach. Your model's linkage arrangement is probably similar. |
