I have a 93 villager that will not start. Turn the key and all I have is headlights, completely nothing else...dead.Took starter out and had tested at local shop, says good. checked all fuses, good. jumped starter with screw driver at solinoid, does not even try to crank, starter sounds like just spinning,not engaging. Took back out had tested somwhere else, says good. new battery. headlights work and can hear fuel pump at key turn on, nothing else works, no horn,windows,radio,zilch. Also, when hooking up battery terminals, odd thing is there is no spark like there is no ? whatever coming from the battery, but if the lights work & can hear fuel pump at key turn on how can this be?
any help?
Fixed. Alt. fuseable link broke beyond eyesight... $2.89, can't get much better than that
