Looking for 1/43 Weber carbs, four-carb intake and magnesium wheels

Hey everyone - I hope someone can help me out. I'm planning my next project, the 289 Ford Cobra raced in 1963 by Dan Gurney and Bob Bondurant.

I'm using the Monogram Ultimates Cobra as the base, but need some parts that, so far, I haven't found through MediaMix Hobby, HobbyLink Japan, etc. --

Four Weber carbs and a four-carb intake manifold like this (photo from the actual car, which recently sold at auction for $1.3 million ):

And magnesium wheels like this:

I could probably scratch-build the carbs with styrene and Tameo trumpets and use styrene to build the manifold (if anyone's done this and has a tutorial, I'd love to see it) but thought I'd see if someone, somewhere, makes resin pieces. Wheels will be tougher to scratch-build. I'll also need some 60's-era Shell or Sunoco decals.

Perhaps there's another kit available that would have donor parts?

Any help appreciated!

I saw that 98 car for sale at auction on Amelia Island this year. It sold for 1.3 million and sounded AWESOME.

Sorry I don't know much about where you can find 1/43'rd parts for it though.

That car was gorgeous; and the new owner looked pretty happy on his test drive around the Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island

I thought it sold for $1.8 million.

It's only money.

There were a couple of other mint original 289's in the Concours the next day.

I've heard it went for $1.3M, $1.6M and now $1.8M. Whatever it was, it was more than I'll ever have laying around!

Say... if there's anyone out there who'd like to cast the carbs, manifold and wheels in resin (or turn them on a lathe) for a reasonable fee...

I just Googled it; it sold for $1,650,000. Add the various auction fees and the guy easily paid $1.8 million. And he looked damned proud to be driving it

Re: Looking for 1/43 Weber carbs, four-carb intake and magnesium wheels

Just in case anyone ever has the same question -- i.e. where to find 1/43 weber carbs -- I found them in the Testors prepainted metal 1/43 Ford GT40 kit. They'll need some detailing, but they'll work. The wheels in the Testors kit, though not entirely accurate, will do.
