engine cleaning

Hey, i read a post on here a while ago about an engine cleaning product that u put in with ur oil and drove for say 3000 miles drained and if ur engine had more then 100k on it do it agian, i am not sure if there are many products on the market like this but if someone could point me in the right direction it would be most appriciated thanks

i also have access to a ZJ grand cherokee was wondering if there is anything that i might be able to steal off that if any of u have taken stuff off of ZJ to put on an XJ lemme know.

IMHO, in most cases I would never use a "cleaning" product in the motor. If you think your motor is "dirty" with gunk ect....I would recommend you do oil and filter changes more often and let the detergents in the oil clean it. The problem is if the guts to your motor are very dirty the cleaning product may knock some grime, gunk or sludge loose and that may clog an oil passage. This is my Good luck
