Motor Replacements 02 alero
I need to know if anyone has changed motors in a 02 alero with a echotech
2.2??? Will a 03 caviler with a echotech 2.2 work. Or will any echotech 2.2 work???????? Any body with any great wisdom on this issue will be great.

Anything can be made to work with enough time, and more importantly, money. I doubt there would be many similarities between an Alero and Cavalier in terms of wiring harnesses, ECM, etc. I think you'd be setting yourself up for an expensive disappointment.
If the motor in the Alero is bad, why not just replace it with the correct engine, or sell it and buy a Cavalier?
