Help A.s.a.p.!!!!

So, my power steering fluid has a small leak. I went to the store and bought power steering fluid but I didn't add it in the right spot. It was dark when I was adding it, and I added it in the the spot with the picture of a yellow pitcher looking thing pouring something. I don't have my owners manual and this isn't a really good description but I know nothing about cars. If anyone has a mustang and could please check this out for me I would greatly appreciate it...I think I royaly screwed up.

Re: Help A.s.a.p.!!!!

sounds like you added it to the windshield washer resovoir...not too bad until you go to wash your windshield and get oil all over it....you need to get it out of there and replenish that resovoir with fresh windshield washer fluid...To add power steering fluid, there is a small resovoir on the driver's side front of the motor...
