Here Is The Issue I Have A 1997 Aurora It Has Been Dying It First Started Dying As Soon As You Put It In Reverse And Gave It Gas To Back Out Then It Started Dying Went Put In Drive Now It Starts Ocassionallyshoots Out A Blue Spark And Dies And Won't Start Again.

This Is What We Have Changed On It

Have You Had It Scanned For Codes? If Not, Bring It Into An Autozone Or Advanced Auto And Get Some Codes.

Re: 1997 aurora starts then dies.

We Have Scanned It For Codes When It Was Running Wrote Them Down.i Will Have To Find The Codes The Car Is Not Running Right Now So I Can't Take It To Auto Zone. I Know One Of The Codes Had To Do With The Crank Shaft Sensor Not Sure About The Other Codes I Know It Had Three Come Up.

The Crank Shaft Position Sensor Will Certainly Cause Major Issues With Keeping The Car Running. I Would Look Into Replacing The Two. The Blue Spark Thing Still Has Me Confused. Where Is The Spark Coming From?

also on the opposite side of the intake there is a "blow out" valve and the oring around that could be bad.
