Re: just starting

i think what u trying to says there is tamiya not tayama
except tamiya u can still go for fujimi or aoshima. may be hasegewa.
It all depends on what type of models that you are craving for though

Re: just starting

Sorry to change your topic, but im gonna give you some advice. That advice would be to skip out on the Xmod, not worth your time. Also I think this in the wrong forum.

Re: just starting

well if youre looking for something like fast and furious tuner then the Tamiya Jaccs Accord would be good. its already dropped so you dont have to worry about how to drop the car and you can build it like the instructions tell you to, or you can use your imagination and paint it some cool pearl or metallic color.

Re: just starting

A much more importaint question is, "what kind of car are you interested in building?" If you want a terrific model of a Porsche or Nissan, get a Tamiya kit. If you want a Chevy, go for AMT.

If kit quality is your most importaint consideration, it's hard to beat Tamiya. But most of us are more interested in the car that the kit is of, and then we'll pick our favorite brand of kit that makes a model of that car.

What kind of cars do you like?

eh.. with that type of attitude it will be hard for you to model. I've been modeling for more than ten years on and off. If your subject is something that doesn't interest you, then you will have a VERY hard time finishing models. Modeling takes paitience and passion.

In reply to your erm.. search.. if its detail that you want, I would suggest that you go for Tamiya. Easy to build and good detail.
