D15B7 Performance Parts
Wow, I'm starting to understand why no one want's to build up the D series engines. It's a pain to find parts for the smaller engines. I've got a couple of questions. Where can I find performance valves for the D15B7? Can you use springs and valves made for the D16Z6 in a non vtec D series? Does anyone know where to find low compression pistons for the non vtec D series engines?

Re: D15B7 Performance Parts
To put it simply, alot of companies don't make parts because of the lack of demand. Basically the aftermarket support for D series revolvs around the Z6, y8, and zc.

Re: D15B7 Performance Parts
Is it worth it to upgrade that engine? I have the same one and have found that dropping a different engine in would be the best option in the long run. The problem; the rods are to thin.

Re: D15B7 Performance Parts
Worth it is in the eye of the beholder. When it comes to money. No this may not be the best option, which is one of the many reasons I'm considering getting a new body. Upgrading the D15B7 is something that not a lot of people do. It would be one way to help me to stay as different as possible even though I drive such a popular car to modify. To me, having a well built D15B7 would be worth it simply from the aspect of the uniqueness. While everyone else is swapping for B series or H22's I chose to stick with the D series. Like CivicSpoon said in the other post I had about the D16Z6

Any luck with the interclocks? You've got yourself a lot of projects going on.

Re: D15B7 Performance Parts
It's a lot of stuff that all needs to be fresh on the mem. As soon as I can get some componenets to test my theorys I'll let you know. Right now I'm trying to find the right motors and gears to do the job. I'll let you know as soon as I have a working model.
