Hello,
I have had I believe APC foglights for over a year. Thay have worked great until yesterday. The light on the button switch doesn't light up and they don't turn on. Grounds, the positive, accessory, fuse, and the relay are good. I think the switch might might have burnt. The wires from the harness are +,-, and acc. How woult I wire up a toggle switch? Thanks! |

Re: Aftermarket fog lights
What kind of switch are you using now? All switches wire up pretty much the same. I believe the acc tab is for lighted switches. You can find a wide variety of switches @ Autozone or simiar to suit your taste.

Re: Aftermarket fog lights
A two terminal toggle switch is all that's really necessary, (single pole, single throw). One terminal goes to the fuse, the other goes to the trigger, (#87) terminal of the fog light relay. For a three terminal switch with a light in it, one goes to the fuse (+), one goes to ground, (-) for the light in the switch. The third goes to the trigger, (#87) terminal of the fog light relay, (acc).
