vote to help me decide new project car

OK guys here's the deal. I'm on the verge of selling my 94 Z28. after that i will have about 7,000 to spend on building up a car. After a lot of researching i have come down to 3 options. I really can't decide, I want to consider all aspects of the cars, the car will have to be fast, but not the fastest thing on the road i'm happy with low 14's.....and the car will have to look good. Also i want to consider the interior ergonomics (i think that's the right word) and comfort level. please vote to help me decide......Oh one more thing i will be auto-xing the car too.....thanks again.

the 3 options are

1....B20'd EG coupe

2....SR20DET 240sx

3....AWD 1gen DSM

If you're not to tall, the DSM is a pretty comfortable ride along with being in the 14s out of the box.

While the DSMs offer damn fine performance out of the box, they are very common. I felt the Nissan was more of an original choice and will be a much more unique car, plus it is RWD.

well first gen dsm's are ugly. since you wanted something that looks good, then get a SR powered 240. but they have crappy ass head room and since your 6'3. your goin to have a hard time gettin in and out of that car.

i dont think id got for a b20, unless you are looking to spend big $$$$. i know a guy, sleeved the block, b16 head, balenced the crank, eagle rods and i think je pistons. his build cost him around $6,000. hes putting about 200hp to the wheels. but a few more tips to the dyno, hes hoping to be at around 220whp with is current setup.

well i don't want to have to rev it to make power, so i'm going B20.....more potential down the road when i get some more money.

I was also thinking of getting a B18b swap and JRSC....could i do that for around 4,000?

S13/S14 RWD = Mad drift action/Better car overall.
Civic FWD = No Drift action/Inferior car.

Marc-OS wishes he had a 240sx
