posting pictures help?
hey i finally got the digital camera and took some pictures. now i dont know what program i should use to make them smaller without destroying the quality of the picture. i want to put one in my sig and the others on a thread for all to see. the pictures are currently on msngroups. thanks

go to paint and resize them there. once in paint at the top click on image then click on stretch/skew... then where it says 100 change it to like 20. thats what i do with all my pictures. then resave them once there changed size. after all that is done go to like www.tinypic.com and upload them there. once uploaded the image should appear at the bottom and next to it it will show 3 different links, copy the one that says [IMG] next it and then paste it into a thread.

yeah no problem. thats what i do everytime i post pics so it should work with no problem.
EDIT- just make sure once you resize the pic that you resave it. cuz if you dont then it wont be resized. |

photobucket.com is another great hosting site that i use. Photoshop is the money for photo editing, if you have a means of getting ahod of it without going to the store.
