Hi,
I own a 1991 Toyota Corolla and I am having a problem with the car wherein whenever it rains the car runs fine for some time; but when the car is at a complete stop and I press the gas pedal to accelerate, the car jerks and then shuts off. I then have to put the car in P and restart the car. This problem so far only occurs in wet weather, all other times the car runs fine. I taught the problem was a bad battery, but having replaced it with a new battery I still have the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated, Bob |

Re: Car suddenly shuts off
How are the cap, rotor, and wires? The problem you note is most often seen in these components if related to wet weather.
