I am having difficulty trying to figure out how much ohms are supposed to be going thru the ignition switch. The car is not starting and I am thinking it is the ignition switch. The light on the ECU is not even showing up, I was trying to check the light on the ECU and it blinks for a second as I am turning the ignition on but it is not staying on.

Re: 91 CRX not starting
the light on the ecu is supposed to just blink once then if there are error codes more blinks will follow the initial blink

Re: 91 CRX not starting
first off ohms don't go through anything in a circuit they are a measurement of a physical aspect of the circuit. second, is it cranking? do u'r blinkers/wipers/blower motor any of the items that only function in the "on" position of the ignition switch work when u have it in the "on" position? if it cranks and any of those items work, then it's not the ignition switch. if u have had the underdash fuse box out, check and make sure u have ALL of the connectors plugged back in, especiall in the back. the power to your dizzy comes from the back of the underdash fusebox. have u done any of the usual diagnosis of a no start? check for spark? check for fuel? check compression? let us know wut the car is doing, wut u'r doing, and wut u have done.
