Pulsing Sound Coming from what sounds like driver front
Hello all,
I have a 2001 Alero with the 3.4 and I have noticed that after I come off of hte highway, there is this pulsing whirring sound coming from what sounds like the front driver side wheel that is fully dependant on wheel speed. It still makes the sound when the brakes are applied and engine speed has nothing to do with it. It only does it when its hot, not when its cold. Both of the wheel bearings have already been replaced (just recently) and I also just did the front brakes (rotors as well). I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem as well, or is the bearing just shot again... Thanks, Dan |

Re: Pulsing Sound Coming from what sounds like driver front
Welcome to AF.
What brand hub/bearings were used and was the work done DIY or by a shop. Sounds like another wheel bearing to me.

Re: Pulsing Sound Coming from what sounds like driver front
They were done at the dealer under warranty using the OEM parts. I hope it's not another bearing...those turkeys.
My buddy seems to think it may be a cv joint, anyone ever had that? Dan |
