help with timing. really quik

ok i am told to look for 3 marks on my crank pully and only see one mark. and it isnt even a mark it is a #1 it is in one of the pics under here. but i also only see one mark on the block itself to line anything up with. it is also in another pic. sorry for crappy pics. help me figure this out of just give me a chiltons or haynes manual i could buy for a b16 or one that would work for the timing on that motor. thanks

it should be on the lip of the pulley not right there so clean that shit off good and look for it...also restamp it with a flathead screw driver when you find it so its easier to fine and you can remark it with any color paint thats bright...good luck

yah, it's on the lip closest to the block (alternator belt pulley section). The mark on the lower timing cover is a raised line that's about 2 inches long.

oh ok. i will have a look tomorrow. what else could it be if not this. im running out of things to do. i checked the actuall fuel injector wiring and it is correctly wired. replaced my friends ecu in it. damn this sucks. some guy is selling a 4g4d and i want it it has a sohc vtec in it. i should have left over money to boost it. i would rather fix this tho. please help. im gonna take it to a shop and see.

are you sure you are getting power to the ecu? when you first turn the key on the ecu should blink once to show that it turns off, then if no codes are present the led should ramain off.

yeah i get the blink on and off. and one of my tdc sensors pins came out of place so i fixed it and then reset the ecu and nothing since then , no codes but there is power for sure

ok i found the mark and with the gears facing like they should it is all lined up correctly. i dont know what could be
