New Car, <3K good tuner

I am looking around for a new car this summer. i want something that has decent speed stock, and has good tunability, but just bolt on but as far as turbos and engine swaps. here is what im thinking:

240SX
300ZX
Integra
Prelude

that being said, the prelude and the 300ZX [especially the TT] are pretty much out of the question, way to much dough. i want something relativly cheap so i can put more money into parts. i can do almost all the work my self.

does any one have any other ideas? opions? comments?

Re: New Car, <3K good tuner

Integra/Civic is king in terms of parts IMO and sounds perfect for you. I woulda gotten one if i didn't need a vehicle with 4wd and to haul a bunch of my stuff AND with a sub box in the back.

you aren't going to get much of a 300ZX or Prelude for less than $3000

Re: New Car, <3K good tuner

Go with the 240.

Might not have all the bolt on mods possible like the civic or teg but its gonna be alot more fun to drive with the RWD especially if you are doing a swap.
