another exhaust question

i need a new exhaust system for my Z..right now it dumps right before the cat would be..and i have nothing after that..its loud..so before i can get it on the road..legally.. i need an exhaust system
I want dual pipes out the back..and this is the ones that fit that and are in my price range
FLOWMASTER american thunder
DYNOMAX super turbo
DYNOMAX ultra flo
EDELBROCK rpm cat-back
HOOKER super competition
PACE SETTER TFX kat-back
also seeing as i have a Red z28 im gonna have enough cop problems it needs to not be too obnoxious i like the flowmaster but i think that would be loud
i have looked all over for sound clips and all i could find was clips for the flowmaster...and i heard the hooker on a 2005 mustang gt i thought it sounded like a european sports car...yuck..but that could just be cause it was on a mustang.........
opinions??
and also what are you guys currently running and your likes dislikes..and any other thoughts you have
thanks
john

Re: another exhaust question

i heard a few sound clips and read alot of reviews..and i got the dynomax super turbo 2.5"..........next question.......im going without a cat i figure im just gonna take a peice of pipe and weld the cat flanges on the pipe..so i can put that in place of the cat..and if change my mind later..i can easily put the cat back on....sound like the best idea?........or any bettter ideas?

Re: another exhaust question

That sounds like a good idea. I don't have to pass emissions so I just have a piece of pipe in place of the cat.

Re: another exhaust question

i dont like the sound of flowmaster...and ive heard they dont flow well ( who hasnt?) the dynomax is already sitting in my bedroom..i have no idea how it sounds though and MR. Doctor told me not to do anything involving my hands forprobably month and a half or so ! ARGHh!!!! all i can do now is start the car and drive around our circle driveway.......i suppose i better start lookin for cats to steal the flages off of....are the cats slip fit inlet and flange outlet???
