How much is insurance usually on a 240sx?

How high is insurance on this car when factoring in a driver under 20 with no prior driving infractions usually? (stock or otherwise) I'm thinking about getting one, but i keep hearing that insurance might be pretty steep for me.

um it is different from state to state and your parents driving records can come into play blah blah blah oh and the color ect ect its kinda hard to give you a good answer

insurance is gonna be steep no matter what car you get if you're under 20 (i'm 19 so I def kno how it goes) but in comparison with other cars a 240sx shouldnt be too terribly high. just try and avoid speeding tickets if you can (obviously ) because that'll jack the shit out of your insurance wether you drive a geo or a veyron.

just out of interest 95black transam, what kind of insurance do you pay? you drive a 5.7 V8, drive that here in england and the insurers just laugh in your face if you try and insure it under 19/20

It really depends. I was with AAA insurance in Cali and paid $960 for the year (liability only). This was when I was under 21. In NJ, when I was 24, I paid $1500 for the year (liability only).

my 240 was not bad at all, actually about the same as my shadow...the ballpark of 500 or so per 6 months. thats for full coverage too. my sentra was quite a bit more, but that was before i was 21

i think the first 3 years are the roughest,, so approx 16-19ish you're gonna pay a lot more.

when you turn 21 your insurance will drop significantly, and then it will drop again when you turn 25

it depends on the company. the company i'm with decreases my rates from the time i turn 21, then again every 2 years (23, 25 and so on). i've got one accident and 2 tickets (accident will be off the record in october) and i'm paying 3kCDN per year ish.
