1992 power window problem

hello
have a 92 lesabre with intermittent pas indow problem. randomly will not go down- but old trick- open door with window switch ( works same from either door) down for that window - open door and close with power still applied by switch- window then works for several days- cant seem to find wiring diagram on line - sounds like brushes in motor- but never have problem in going up - are there limit upper and lower limit switches or is it current controlled inside motor - when the window wont go down, sounds like relay in the door- brushes with poor contact dont make clicking noise . since i am only driver havent taken door apart yet.
any partial wiring diagrams available?
thanks

Re: 1992 power window problem

Welcome to AF. Most likely the motor is bad or the connector at the motor is corroded, autozone.com/repairinfo has some body wiring diagrams.

Re: 1992 power window problem

Try removing the door panel and checking for loose connections first. All of the wiring is very easy to see and check even without diagrams.
