Re: Next Upgrade Suggestions

A pair of Pacesetter (because of price) LT Headers, underdrive pullies, or a new cam. Sounds like you got the essentials covered. Maybe a used F.A.S.T. LSx manifold.

Re: Next Upgrade Suggestions

My next mod would be to put the stock MAF back on.
Then get an LS6 intake.

Re: Next Upgrade Suggestions

Because without tuning the aftermarket ones lean out your car.
The only reason they add power is because they cause a lean condition. Lean = power, but lean also = unsafe detonation.
This doesn't happen on most cars, but it has happened.
Plus, the stocker is good up to 500+ RWHP.

Believe me, that was a rookie modding mistake I made as well.
Cost me $500 to tow my car back home 950 miles.

Is that only for the LS1? I have an aftermarket MAF on my LT1 w/ cold air tuning, but no tune yet after I installed it. I am trying to hold out until after my headers for a tune. Haven't noticed any problems though. Sorry about hijacking the thread.

You could also go with gears if you are able to install them yourself
