Handling Question

The alignment is off. The wheel is very loose. Let's say I'm making a left turn, I turn the wheel, the power steering is working but then the wheel reaches it's limit against the chassis, it makes a buzzing noise and I make a VERY wide turn.

If I replace the steering components, will my steering get better than it is? Does being lowered have anything do with it?

Yes, you do. You need a alignment specialist to diagnose which parts if any are truely bad. Buzzing at the stops from the pump is normal, that's the pump telling you that you are maxed out.

Also, in yet another thread again, you started up something about your ride height, if the ride height has been altered from stock, but all other angles of the steering and suspension have not been adjusted to compensate for this, that in itself will have an impact.

If you still just feel like shotgunning parts at it, common failures are the rods in and out, center link, pitman and idler bushings.
