Re: need more power

what car is this on? and what motor? you usaly start with exhaust and intake. A good exhaust for any v6 is magnaflow. And if you have a v8 magnaflow sounds good if you have headers, otherwise it is to quite.

Re: need more power

well lfowmaster has a good sound but do not flow very well. I would put some headers on with a magnaflow cat back. that will sound real good. Also do a coustome cold air intake. I would also get a tb spacer cheep hp gain, so is the intake.

Re: need more power

if its anything liek a carb spacer, it just lifts the throttle body so its supposed to speed up the air/gas..so it goes into the cylinders faster.. (i think?)

I have Flowmasters on my Firebird (V6). It makes my car sound likes it has a V8...it sounds real mean...

I recommend Flowmaster or SLP Loudmouth...

Re: need more power

I recommend nothing but Magnaflow. At least when it comes to the lesser priced set-ups.

Re: need more power

a throttle body spacer (tb spacer) is used it makes the tb cooler by spacing it and makes more power somehow. they only makes about 5hp diffrence. Would not spend over 25-30$ on one.

Re: need more power

Cooler air is more dense and provides for better combustion.
