I hate electrical work

I am wiring in(with factory pig tail) a trailer brake controller, and the pig tail has an extra wire, I.e. the unit has 4 pigtail has 5. I did one to my friends truck but can't remember what the hell I did. Besides that I can't stand electrical work it drives me nuts for some reason.

Re: I hate electrical work

I would if I didn't spend MY money on the equipment. Which really is fine with me because, I am going to use the truck and trailer myself, I figured I should contribute to the cause.

Dude, do you ride (horses)? If so, kick ass, I'm not the only one here. If not, I made a fool of myself.

they might not even be seperate since they're sychronised, unlike turn signals which need to be independant.

Nope. We just got a new horse earlier this month. I am super excited even though he hurt his suspensory and is upto 3 of 6-8 weeks of recovery. If it takes longer, he is going to have ALPOitis.

Don't use 5th wire in the pig tail. I just need to tape it off. The one I got was a piece of crap, and I am glad i didn't put it in the truck. I am going out tomorrow to the trailershop to get a new one that is of much better quality and cheaper as well.
