hello everybody! I have a problem and thought you guys could help. I've recently discovered that AMT/ERTL and Monogram(pre revell) made indy car kits from the late 80's. examples:
I really want to build them but there are 2 problems . (1, i can't find out how many piceces are in them (2, i can't find any kit reveiws, so i don't know if there good/bad. because i'm on a tight buget, i don't want to end up with an unuseable kit. so if any body's built them or knows a reveiw, then please reply.any responce would be greatly welcomed!thanks!

Re: please help!!!!!!!!!
I got that Porsche kit from ebay. Won part of a 4 kit sale. THe lot went for something like $40 for all 4. So I got it at a good deal. So try ebay for them. The kit isn't junk from the parts. But I haven't built it, so I cannot give it a good review or bad.

Re: please help!!!!!!!!!
Have a look on modelexpress.net, if Dennis has the kits in stock he typically lists the number of parts in the kit.

Re: please help!!!!!!!!!
I read a review of the Quaker State car in a UK magazine some time ago. I believe they had some problems with the engine cowling fit, so they just left it off and detailed the engine.

Re: please help!!!!!!!!!
Seems like I assembled a K-Mart car WAY back when. If I remember correctly it had pretty decent detail. That was before I truely learned to appreciate a good model kit.
