Any aftermarket accessories for the Tamiya Supra 1/24?
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all of the info on this site. I'm currently working on a BMW Z3 which I will be posting pics of in a couple of days. But I did get a new model today -- a Tamiya Supra. Anyone have a sources for upgrades (tires, decals, etc.) for this model? Thanks. Feel free to post pics of your Supras. John B |

Re: Any aftermarket accessories for the Tamiya Supra 1/24?
Hey, welcome to AF!
I don't know of anything made specifically for the Tamiya Supra, but there are aftermarket options for both decals and tyres/wheels. Some sources are listed in the FAQ section. Fujimi has a terrific selection of wheels, but they often take some work to get them to fit Tamiya kits. I don't have a Supra to post pics of, but I can show you my Z3! ![]() I replaced the kit wheels with a set of Fujimi BBS's. My thread shows the modification I did, but I had to use a lathe.... Looking forward to seeing your work!

ScaleAutoStyle.com makes some body kit parts for the Supra kit.

Tamiya just released the ings wing set w/ photoetch seatbelt hardware kit for 1200 yen. Great deal, I think. Also Fujimi is releasing a set of generic fender flares soon.

MPWR -- Excellent Z3! I really admire your work on that one. Mine is coming out OK, but not anywhere near your level. I still at the point of trial and error as far as the skills I've learned on this forum. I use your original Z3 thread as inspiration for my model. You can see it at this thread.
Thank you Freakray and Hirofkd for your advise. JB |
