96 18b1 nitrous

I am thinking about getting a wet nitrous kit for my ls teg. The motor has 147,000 miles on it but it is in good shape. I will only spary 35 to 55 shot maybe 3 times a month. Will i still have to retard the timing for a 35 shot and is it safe to spray with that many miles or should i get cams or something else. Already have I/H/E and what spark pulgs do you recommend. wanting to find a kit for 400 dollars any suggestions

You dont have to retard the timing for a 35 shot or even the 55 shot.

I ran ngkR's on my ls when I sprayed a 55 shot and had no problems, just use the highest possible octane gas you can get and you'll be fine. Until you feel the urge to up the shot.

Your motor should be fine unless theres something wrong with it already.
