Fuel leak and stalling

This is about my 90 Talon TSi AWD...

Yesterday i noticed a fuel leak from my return line at the rubber hose that then connects to the steel line. It only leaks while the car is on.

Anyway i was driving it the night before i noticed the leak and when i push the clutch it after 3500 rps or more and let it drop back to idle the RPMs go down to 500 and bounce back to 1000 or so. But sometimes it drops down and stalls. It just did this Wednesday for the first time. If i shift at low RPMs its normal.

I was wondering if the fuel leak in that reuturn line has anything to do with it stalling like this.

I saw the other thread that sounds just like my problem that was just posted but didn't want to hijack it.

Thanks!

Re: Fuel leak and stalling

If the leak is in the return line, it's after the regulator, and should have no effect on how the engine runs.
