Lowering / Rims for a 2007 4G

Just got my 4G its awesome, Need help with getting the wheels right. Theres about 5inches of gap between the rear wheels and the body. That gap makes it looks odd. Looking to upgrade the wheels (OEM 17's) thinking 18's or 19's but I don't won't it to rub.

If I lowered it would it be better to use springs, (wanting to keep the ride quality) or coil overs,

Re: Lowering / Rims for a 2007 4G

Well, Unless you want to spend out your ass for a good set of coilovers, I would go with springs. Any cheap set of coilovers like from ebay or something are gonna suck balls....and even a nice set are still gonna make your ride like ass. As far as springs and shocks go, everyone from the 3G community seems to really like Eibach pro-line springs and KYB-AGX shocks. Not sure if they offer it for the 4G club yet, but thats what we got. Im not real up to date on new 4G stuff. Good luck, and If you drop it im thinking 18's will be plenty large. Make sure you get nice tires 2. otherwise it's just a waste.
