'91 Camaro weatherstripping

Finally got my weatherstripping for the hatchback on my daughters '91 Camaro. I would appreciate any tips on removal, cleaning and installation of the new one. I bought a G.M. product. Thanks!

Re: '91 Camaro weatherstripping

There is really not much to replacing the hatch weather strip .
Removal - just pull straight up. There should not be any adhesive to deal with.
Cleaning - just a wet cloth to remove any dirt & dust.
Reinstallation - again no adhesive is needed it is just a press on fit.
start at the center above the license plate area and work your way around. You just want the seam or splice at the lowest point.
